Last week, we made a little trip to Kewanee for an amazing engagement shoot with these two cuties!! We first heard from Kaylen and Nate a few months back, right after they got engaged around the holidays! From the very second Kaylen contacted us, it was so completely clear that these two were completely over the moon excited to be getting married, and we absolutely love that!
These guys have been together since college, and their story might just be one of the sweetest we’ve ever heard! Kaylen told us right after they inquired with us that in college, Nate saw Kaylen walking through the cafeteria and said to himself, “I’m going to marry that girl.” I mean, how adorable is that?!
To top it all off, Nate proposed last year at Kaylen’s family’s Christmas party, surrounded by Kaylen’s entire extended family. Sweetest story ever, right? Oh my goodness. We met up with Kaylen and Nate last week at Kaylen’s grandparents’ farm, and we had the most perfect night for their session! The light was literally so glowy, bright and incredible and we had the best time photographing these two all night! Here’s the thing, though- guys, it was UNBELIEVABLY hot and humid! We aren’t even kidding when we say this was probably one of the hottest engagement sessions we’d had in a long time. You would have never, ever known that it was so hot just from looking at Kaylen and Nate’s images, would you?! These guys completely rocked it despite how humid it was, and we’re officially obsessed with this entire session. (If you couldn’t already tell- ha!)
Kaylen and Nate, it was so incredible to finally meet you two last week, and thank you so much for being so kind and adorable! We so appreciate you guys and we literally could not be more excited for your wedding in under TWO MONTHS! We are seriously so excited to see you guys again so soon, and we hope you absolutely adore this little sneak peek into your session!
