Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! Prepare yourselves, because you are all about to become as obsessed with these two and this session as we are!!! Get ready. 😉 Let’s start from the beginning of the story, shall we? Nick reached out to Luke and I a few weeks ago about working with us to surprise his wife Taylor with some anniversary photos for their first anniversary this October, and we got so excited as soon as we heard from him! What better way to celebrate an anniversary than with an anniversary session, right?!
We worked with him to pull off the surprise, and he was able to gift what we’d prepared for Taylor to her on their one year anniversary! We had so much fun filming a little video and creating a portion of our website dedicated just to gifting her that session, along with providing some fun tips for preparing for their session with us!
A few days later, Taylor and I began planning outfits and chatting through various location options, and we eventually landed on the ever beautiful Washington Park Botanical Gardens in Springfield for their engagement photos! 🙂 We actually tried out a spot at Washington Park Botanical Gardens that we’d never been to before, and that was their greenhouse… and y’all, let’s just say I WILL BE BACK! Holy gorgeous, right? We love that although it was totally freezing outside, we got to enjoy some gorgeous light and vibrant blooms inside the greenhouse! I have no idea how we haven’t tried out this spot before.
Nick and Taylor, we are so glad we got to be a part of celebrating your engagement session! Thank you guys SO much for inviting us to be a part of your celebration of your anniversary!!
