I don’t know about you guys, but I cannot believe that September has already almost come and gone! I feel like this past month has just flown by, for a variety of reasons… we shot Amy + Zach’s wedding, Gabby + Adam’s wedding, Heather + Blake’s wedding, a ton of adorable engagement sessions, took a trip to Kansas for a weekend, and lots more. No wonder the month has flown by!!
One exciting change that came to C&L this past month has been the relaunch of our NEWSLETTER! I’ll be 100% honest with y’all… we initially started a newsletter over the winter, and it was not what it is now. And that’s okay! We discovered that we would rather have our newsletter be known as a resource than another email you either ignore or delete right away, filled only with promos and incentives to book with us. You know as well as we do that everyone gets HUNDREDS of emails per day, so we decided at the end of summertime to make our newsletter a weekly resource for brides!
In the future, we plan to expand our newsletter and ensure that we’re not only educating our brides on tips that will make their experience as an engaged woman and as a C&L bride that much better, but also educating other photographers… but that’s for another day! ????
We want you brides to know that every single Friday at lunchtime, ladies are receiving a cute little email in their inbox with a quick tip about something wedding related. I’ll give you a hint… September’s newsletters were all about wedding days. From handling guests with cameras to how to manage wedding day stress, we covered several topics you might never think about while planning your wedding!
October’s newsletters will all focus on engagement sessions! We have more engagement sessions than we have EVER had in an October, so we want to make sure we’re covering EVERYTHING for all those sweet brides and other girls planning their engagement sessions this month. Newsletters cover content that you can’t find on our blog, too! Bonus! I’ll save November’s theme as a secret for now, but y’all, December needs to get here fast because we’ll be chatting every week about your first engaged Christmas season or your first newlywed Christmas… and I’m slightly excited about that!
