Hey friends, and happy Tuesday! You guys know that Tuesdays are the day we get to share Saturday’s beautiful wedding day with you all, and today we are so thrilled to get to share Jenny and Ryland’s gorgeous October wedding day with you all! We first met these two last fall when we shot their engagement session, and as soon as we met them in person, we just totally hit it off as friends!! Just about a year later, we had the tremendous honor of getting to photograph their beautiful wedding day, and what a total joy that was!! Their DoubleTree wedding photos and Downtown Bloomington wedding portraits are, hands down, some of our new favorites from a rainy wedding day- ahh!
Here’s the thing about Saturday- it never stopped raining ALL DAY long. Literally, guys- it never stopped even for a moment! And yet even with that crazy forecast and some cold, wet weather, Jenny and Ryland never let that steal even a little bit of their joy on their wedding day! We photographed about 99% of their wedding day outdoors still, and not only were they total troopers, but their bridal party was, too! So we’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to Jenny and Ryland’s amazing bridal party for braving the cold with us to take their beautiful portraits outside- such total rockstars! This day was just an all around joy to be a part of as we watched our sweet friends tie the knot after being together for years- these guys met in high school, so their celebration was long-awaited!
Jenny and Ryland, thank you for being so incredible to work with literally from day one! It has been the most fun getting to know you guys, and we cannot wait to watch your life together continue to unfold! Thank you for braving the torrential downpours with us on Saturday- we appreciate you so much and hope you know how OBSESSED we are with the photos we captured for you guys!! Ahh! What a beautiful fall wedding day! Enjoy your first few days as a Mr. and Mrs., you two- you deserve it!!!
