This one’s a no brainer, friends! When you book a photo and video team, you are only having to find and select one vendor! Instead of having to inquire with multiple photographers you love and multiple videographers you love, all you have to do is find a photography & videography team you’re obsessed with, and then you can start the booking process from there! It’s a wonderful feeling, and it provides so much peace of mind when you can cross these two super important vendors off your list at once!
REASON 2: LOGISTICS
Raise your hand if you’ve been in or at a wedding and witnessed a photographer and videographer not getting along, competing for the shot, or stepping on one another’s toes. While we’ve never experienced this ourselves and love working together with videographers outside of our company when our couples hire them, we certainly have heard all the horror stories!
When you hire a photo and video team, you’re giving yourself the gift of a team who can approach your day with a unified plan, which will, in turn, provide you with the best coverage and the smoothest day possible.
While it’s entirely possible for a photographer & videographer to communicate well before a wedding day and on the day itself, nothing compares to the level of communication and planning that comes with a photo & video team! Remember- the key word here is team!!

Speaking of unity, another area in which this is especially important is the style of your photos and film! If you’re dreaming of a wedding film and wedding photographs that “match” stylistically, hiring a photo & video team is a total no-brainer for you. You could certainly find a separate photographer and videographer whose styles are similar, but it won’t be near as close to what a photo and video team can do- simply because that’s their mission and goal!

We wholeheartedly believe that you should connect very well and on a friendship level with BOTH your photographer and videographer… not just one or the other.
We also fully believe that connecting with your photographers and videographers is not only key when it comes to receiving amazing photos and an incredible wedding film, but also when it comes to having an incredible all-around wedding experience!

Fun fact: often, booking a photo and video team together is actually more cost-efficient than booking these two vendors separately! Likewise, when you book a photo and video team, you only have to pay for travel & lodging costs for one team, rather than two separate ones. That’s a total win if you ask us! 😉
