Oh sweet goodness… I still can’t even believe I’m sitting down to write this post, guys- I’ll be totally honest! I know I said the same thing in our Best of 2017 Engagements blog post (you can catch that post right here!), but I literally cannot believe the way our 2017 flew by! I feel like we were just shooting our first weddings of 2017, and yet here we are… just months away from shooting our very first weddings of our 2018 season! Gosh. Time flies, and that is such a good reminder that we need to take advantage of every second we have. That’s actually one of my favorite things about this job… we get the privilege of stopping time for people, and it feels pretty darn magical. Yes, the years may fly by… but these images will endure for generations in our couples’ families. It’s something pretty special, y’all… and it’s an honor, a responsibility and a privilege that we will never take lightly!
So without further ado, here are just SOME of our very favorite wedding images from our 2017 season!! We had the pleasure of working with more couples last year than we ever have in one year, and it was incredible. We shot alllll over Illinois and even in other states this year, which was another fun little first for us. Each day we got to be a part of has a completely special place in our hearts, and we cannot imagine last year without EACH of these sweet couples being an integral part of it.
2017 couples: y’all already know this, but we seriously love you guys a LOT! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us into the joy, the happy tears, the intimate moments, the exciting chaos, and each fleeting moment of your amazing wedding days. We are rooting for each of you and have loved watching you walk through the season of engagement, then walking back down that aisle as a MR. AND MRS. on that best day ever! You guys are why we do what we do. Xoxo!!!
