Well this post is one even I’m surprised to be sharing on the blog today! 😉 I thought a lot about whether I wanted to share this post with our Caitlin & Luke Photography community, and here we are. As y’all hopefully know if you’ve been following us for any length of time, above all else, Luke and I wholeheartedly believe in loving people well, no matter if they are people we meet through our business or elsewhere. That’s exactly why I started with Monat… I wanted to love people and serve them by introducing them to something that has the potential to change their lives forever! That’s why I finally decided I was excited and ready to share about this with YOU guys… because I want to enrich your lives with this new opportunity!!

What is Monat?
Monat is a naturally-based, non-toxic, plant-based, all around AMAZING hair care line! It has so much amazing info for you that I won’t go into detail on here. 🙂
What do Monat products do?
Because of the way Monat is formulated and how the ingredients work together, these products work better than anything else I have ever tried… and guys, I’ve tried a lot of things 😉 Since I started using Monat, the time it takes to do my hair has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY, I wash my hair MUCH less often, my hair products last LONGER, my hair holds a style for DAYS, it’s GROWING like crazy, my scalp is less DRY,

What’s been your journey with Monat so far?
You guys know me… I’m a writer, so prepare for a little novel here! 😉
Before Monat, I didn’t hate my hair, but I sure as heck didn’t LOVE it. It was very unmanageable, dry, damaged, never (ever) held a curl, took forever to do anything with, fell out, tangled easily, and was all around no fun to do anything with. My hair is naturally wavy, and I have it cut and I get balayage about 3 times per year. I have a TON of hair, and it grows like a weed.
After Monat, my hair is growing longer than ever, it’s less heavy, my color lasts longer and isn’t brassy at all. It’s full of life, shiner, takes no time at all to style, doesn’t tangle, doesn’t fall out, holds its style for days, and I can go about a week without washing it! It used to take me about 30-40 minutes to blow it dry, and now, it takes me less than 10 minutes. My split ends are vanishing, and it just feels and looks better.
And brides, let me just tell ya… I totally wish I had known about and was using this stuff before our wedding! My goodness, gracious!! If now is the time for ANYONE to try Monat, it’s you guys. 😉
I tried Monat after a friend convinced me to give it a shot. I was HUGELY skeptical and was certain I wouldn’t notice a difference. Yet, after just one wash, I marched into our home office and announced to Luke that I was never going back to any other shampoo. My hair was completely different right away! I had made a resolution to transition our cleaning products, food, and my beauty products to more natural, non-toxic and safe products in 2018, and this came at an amazing time. I enrolled a VIP as soon as my sample ran out!
After I posted on my Instagram story on a complete whim about starting to use Monat, I got an incredible response from girls who said they’d been wanting to try it, too. I realized I had an opportunity to sell these amazing products to these girls, and just a few weeks after I enrolled as a VIP, I enrolled as an MP. The rest is history, and my Monat business was born! Luke encouraged me SO much to take the leap and jump into this new project, and I’m so thankful for his awesome support.
Now, I manage my Monat business in addition to running our wedding photography business with Luke! Just as is the case with Caitlin & Luke Photography, I run my Monat business with the heart of community. It’s about the PEOPLE, not the product, Y’all – even if the product is pretty darn incredible. 🙂
I don’t just sell Monat because I believe wholeheartedly in the effectiveness, safety and all around amazing-ness of the hair care products, I sell Monat because I want girls to fall in love with their hair again. I believe that our confidence + worth as women should come from our relationship with Jesus, but I also know there is power in taking care of our bodies and stewarding them well. Plus, we all know we tackle life WAY differently when we love how we look… right, ladies?! It’s just a fact. 😉
What are my next steps?
