Happy Monday, friends! We are SO excited to be sharing our sweet friends’ Megan and Johann’s engagement session with you all today! This session was a unique one for Luke and I for a weird reason- and that’s because Luke actually wasn’t able to make it to Megan and Johann’s engagement session! I honestly cannot remember the last time he has had to miss an engagement session, and Luke never (ever!) gets sick. However, the morning of Megan and Johann’s engagement session, Luke woke up not feeling well at ALL, and it only got worse as the day went on. We ultimately decided that it would be best if he stayed home so that we could avoid passing anything along to Megan and Johann, and while the three of us still had such a fun time, we were so sad to not have Luke there!! We can’t wait to grab dinner the four of us sometime soon, you guys! 🙂
We started off Megan and Johann’s engagement session at Lake Bloomington, and we wrapped up at the amazing Destihl Brewery right here in Bloomington! Megan had reached out to me a few weeks ago about potentially incorporating the brewery into part of their session, as they love craft beers and thought that incorporating Destihl Brewery into their session would be a super sweet nod to this passion of theirs! Megan and Johann are also involved in an amazing German folk dance group, so they also wanted to incorporate their love for that into their photos… and we got to make BOTH of those things happen! So fun, right?!
Megan and Johann, I had the best time getting to FINALLY meet you two in person and get to celebrate your engagement with you! You guys are just the sweetest souls, and we are so honored to be your wedding photographers. We hope you adore this glimpse into our many favorites from your engagement session, and we are SO excited for your wedding next June!
