I feel like we had been waiting for Saturday morning to arrive forever… but in reality, we had only been planning Sam and Brandon’s wedding day for a few months! How crazy excited we were for Sam and Brandon’s wedding day was truly a testament to just how incredible Sam and Brandon are, without a doubt. It was incredible to listen to the four speeches given by members of their bridal party on Saturday, because literally everyone who spoke echoed our thoughts about Sam and Brandon. These two are perfect for each other… they are truly better together than they are apart, and they fit each other so perfectly. Both Sam and Brandon are intentional, have enormous hearts, are genuinely kind to everyone, and invest fully in the people they love. I love the fact that we realized these things about Sam and Brandon after only a few months of knowing them… it shows the depth of their character and the strength of their love for each other and for Jesus. That is something so special!
It may have been freezing cold on Saturday, but we took lots of breaks during portraits to warm up before braving the weather for a few more minutes! 🙂 We were so happy that how cold it was didn’t stop Sam and Brandon from wanting lots of outdoor wedding photos… and with a venue like Mackinaw Valley Vineyard for your reception, how could you not?! Some of our very favorite portraits from this entire day happened right at the end of our portrait time… scroll all the way down towards the bottom of this post so that you don’t miss those sunset photos!
Sam and Brandon, you two are a one of a kind couple. We couldn’t be more excited and honored that you chose us to document your best day ever and we hope these photos let you relive the emotion and the joy of your wedding day! We are grateful to call you both not only clients, but now friends, and we cannot wait for you to see the full gallery of your images SUPER soon! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bahr!! ????
XOXO,
Luke and Caitlin
