Before we shoot each wedding, Luke and I pray together over our couple, their new marriage, their families & guests- and we pray that their day will be a peaceful, joyful celebration of their love. When you look back on your wedding images, we want you to can't help from saying, "This was the best day of all time!" - and be filled with emotion as you relive each moment, feeling afresh every emotion you experienced on your big day!
Over the past several years, we’ve photographed couples in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Alabama, Texas and more! Caitlin and Luke Brides are a very unique tribe! Each year, we now serve just FIVE couples who deeply care about the quality of their wedding memories & prioritize photography. More than anything, they desire a genuine relationship & an unparalleled experience with their photographer. Once we’ve determined that we are the perfect fit, we’ll send over our Investment Guide, filled with pricing & collection details! To safely secure your date, you’ll officially book us online!
Once you’ve become a Caitlin & Luke Bride (cue the confetti!), you'll receive our exclusive C&L Bride resources. These include an engagement session guide, access to the C&L Bride Facebook community, a preferred vendor list, and our 100+ page Wedding Planning Guide! Caitlin will schedule a phone call where, together, we’ll craft a custom wedding day timeline & list of most important photographs, designed with your wedding priorities as the focus! We'll also guide you through planning engagement session locations, hair & makeup, outfits, & more. Remember- you’re never left to navigate this season alone.
Step One
Your Engagement Session!
This is when the fun really starts! Don’t worry one bit… it’s our job to teach you everything you need to know about being in front of the camera! We’ll teach you all of it: how to pose, how to look and feel natural, and you’ll never have to wonder where to look, how to stand, or what to do with your hands! After your first outfit & set of photos, you’ll feel 100% confident and like a total pro… it never fails! Not to worry if you’ve never been photographed together or if your man hates taking photos… Luke especially is incredible at making guys feel super comfortable and at ease in front of the camera!
We’ll ensure you feel gorgeous & comfortable the entire time, and Caitlin promises to fix your hair, make you laugh, and never let there be silence ever while photographing you two!. Your only job is to laugh & love on your fiancé! Following your session, you’ll see your session featured on the Caitlin & Luke Blog, and you can use the final photos in your save the dates, on your wedding website, and displayed throughout your home! Please feel free to share with all your friends and family, too!
Step Two
Final Preparations
As your wedding day approaches, we’re here for any & all questions that may arise! Because we believe no bride should be left alone to plan her timeline, we'll assist in creating a completely custom timeline for your wedding. The month before your wedding, you'll receive a Pre-Wedding Questionnaire from us. Your answers help us serve you best on your day! When wedding week arrives, we'll chat one last time on the phone to ensure we're on the same page before your big day, answer final questions, run through your timeline, and calm any nerves you have!
All this preparation is how we ensure our couples receive a finished gallery full of photos that surpass every dream they ever had for their images! Bring on the signature C&L wispy veil portraits, dreamy bridal detail photos, joy-filled bridal party photos, family portraits your parents will treasure, & of course, plenty of photos of your stunning florals… as photographers who have been in the industry for just under 10 years, we’re professionals at crafting timelines that ensure you have time for all the photos that are most important to you!
Step Three
Your Wedding Day
It’s finally here! We invite you to close your eyes for a moment and envision how you will feel waking up on your wedding day. All the preparations are complete, everything is in place, and your only job is to relax & soak up every last second with your soon-to-be-husband, because we're taking care of everything. We’ll arrive & give you a huge hug, then immediately get to work photographing your wedding details as you finish getting ready. In order to ensure we are there for every important moment you’ll want to remember, we love to be at our wedding days for 9 hours of coverage time!
We can’t wait to meet the people you’re closest to! By the end of your wedding day, we'll feel like a part of your family & bridal party… and we frequently end up photographing our couples’ families’ and friends’ weddings in years to come based on the relationship we form on our couples’ wedding days! Then, because we don’t want you or your people to have to wait to see the photos from your day, you’ll get to relive your entire wedding day through a beautiful blog post just days after your wedding.
Step Four
Gallery & album delivery!
Forget having to wait months for your finished photos! Within just 1 month, your hundreds of wedding images will be delivered via a curated, organized online gallery! We encourage our couples to look at their wedding gallery together and to make it a date night they'll remember forever… complete with a glass of wine, your wedding playlist playing softly in the background, and candles lit! (Cue all the happy tears!) We invite you to simply text or email your gallery link to your family & bridal party as soon as you’d like to… it’s much easier than passing a USB back and forth.
Galleries are also accessible from a mobile iPhone link, and they are safely backed up online for 10 years. Within your gallery, you can download, share and order prints of your favorite photos, and we organize the hundreds of photos into easy to navigate folders, so you can always find your favorites easily! Now, it's time to choose images for your leather wedding album... your first family heirloom. We’re over the moon to assist you with designing this heirloom you’ll pass down to your children & grandchildren for decades to come.
Step Five
The relationship continues…
We adore continuing our friendship with our couples long after their wedding has come and gone! In fact, we still are regularly in touch with tons of the 100+ Caitlin & Luke Couples we’ve gotten to serve! We're always grabbing dinner with past couples, & we love photographing their anniversary photos each year. We also have a team ready to document every family milestone to come! Your wedding is truly just the beginning.
We frequently photograph wedding days for our Caitlin & Luke Couples' family, friends and bridal party members! We can't wait to continue our friendship as your love and family grow with each passing year. We will take any chance to catch up over dinner or drinks with our past brides and grooms, particularly if we're shooting in the city where they live! With Caitlin & Luke Couples living all across the United States, from California, to Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida and beyond, our travels are always exciting chances to reconnect with the sweet people who will forever be known as Caitlin & Luke Couples!

"We were referred to them by our videographers and I am so happy we found them. From the very first inquiry email, they made us feel so welcomed and that our business really mattered to them. It is easy to get disillusioned with wedding planning when certain vendors only treat you as dollar signs. But Caitlin and Luke could not have given us a more personalized experience. From sending us handwritten notes and welcome presents, to the continuous support over email and the phone when we got to some sticky parts in the planning process. My husband and I had a bit of a crazy time planning since he is active duty military and I lived abroad for most of our engagement. Caitlin and Luke were BEYOND flexible with us at every step of the way.
Caitlin and Luke were so organized and helped us plan our day of timeline. Some people hire "day of" wedding planners to help keep everything running smoothly, but if you hire Caitlin and Luke you DEFO won't need one of those. They kept everyone organized and on time and the whole day ran so smoothly and my husband and I had zero stress. Because they worked so closely with us and our other vendors in the lead up to the big day, there wasn't a single hiccup and we owe that all to their strong work ethic. We had over 100 photos within three days of the wedding and all of our finished photos within 10 days! I cannot recommend the two of them enough..."
