Happy Monday, friends! We have some gorgeous stuff to share with you all right here on the blog this week- just you wait! First up is this gorgeous wedding day we got to shoot for our sweet friends Laura and Zach, and oh my goodness was it a total dream from start to finish! But first, if you are new around here, allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Caitlin & Luke- Bloomington, IL wedding photographers, and we had the total honor of getting to work with Laura & Zach for their gorgeous DoubleTree Hotel wedding day!
We have adored working with Laura and Zach from the day they first inquired with us, and they could not have had a more amazing wedding than they did! They started the day getting ready at the DoubleTree Hotel, then tied the knot at the stunning St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Bloomington! Afterwards, we headed to Ewing Manor to take all their wedding photos, and they celebrated with all their closest loved ones at their DoubleTree reception. We could not be more thankful that the rain stopped just in time for their outdoor portraits- we were fully expecting to have quite the downpour to deal with during their portrait time! We’re so thankful that we were able to do everything we wanted to outdoors before we all headed back to their reception. The best!
We had such a fun day with Laura and Zach’s families and bridal party! Everyone was so kind, fun and joyful as they helped Laura and Zach celebrate their special day. We felt like longtime friends of these two by the time their wedding day arrived, but we felt that even more strongly after spending the day with these two and hearing so many fun memories and stories from their relationship together! Every detail from this special day was so well planned and so intentional, and that made Laura and Zach’s wedding day even more wonderful to get to be a part of.
Laura and Zach, we have loved getting to be a part of this season of your life! We couldn’t be more thankful to have been your photographers, and we are so grateful that we got to be the ones to capture this special day for you two!
