Ahh, friends… this blog post has been in the works for quite a while, and we are SO darn excited to be sharing it with y’all today!! A few weeks back, we hosted our very first workshop for wedding photographers, The Spark Retreat, and it was incredible. The day far exceeded our dreams and hopes for our first workshop, and we had such a blast getting to know each of our attendees and helping to pour into their beautiful businesses!
At the end of the day, we got to enjoy the two styled shoots we had planned for the attendees! We shot a styled engagement session (see it right here!) and a styled wedding, and both were amazing. We cannot say thank you enough to the amazing couples who made the sacrifice to come and join us and be their super cute selves while we taught our attendees all about posing naturally, directing authentically, keeping clients feeling comfortable, working with light, and most of all, having an absolute blast while photographing your clients! Megan and Adam were our amazing models for this shoot, and we also got to partner with an amazing dream team of vendors to pull off this shoot at The Spark Retreat. I mean, honestly… could these details have been ANY more gorgeous?!
