Ah, here it is, guys!! This, along with our Best of 2018 Engagement Sessions blog post, is one of our very favorite posts all year long, and we are so darn pumped to get to share it with y’all today! Yay!!
Every year, we go through every single finished client gallery and gather all of our favorite images from that year, and we split up our favorites between two posts- one just for Engagements & Anniversaries, and another for Weddings! 🙂
Today, we get to share our absolute favorite wedding images from 2018 with you all, and we could not be more excited!! It is incredibly challenging to narrow down our favorites, so prepare yourselves for one packed post filled to the brim with all the pretty from each of our phenomenal 2018 weddings!
We know we talk a lot about what it means to us to get to be wedding photographers, but guys, this job means the WORLD to us. We felt the depth of our job’s importance especially this year, and there were so many days and moments where we were literally brought to tears by the joy this job brings us.
We traveled all over the state and the Midwest for this year’s weddings. We shot in 90+ degree heat, in more rain than we’ve ever had in one wedding season, and in AWESOME random November snowstorms. We had a few double header’s and plenty of fun trips out of town before a far away wedding. We shot on Downtown Chicago rooftops and in the woods, we photographed where we had our engagement session done and we fell in love with places we’d never been before. We captured some of our new absolute all time favorite images this year. It’s been quite the year, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
2018 brides and grooms, THANK YOU for making our year amazing! We’ve heard other photographers say before that their couples are the heartbeat of their year, and we couldn’t resonate with that statement more… you guys seriously are the heartbeat of each year we have. Thank you for caring so much for us, for everything you’ve done above and beyond for us, for prioritizing wedding photography and videography in your timelines and budgets, and for working with us to give YOU the photos of your dreams. We can’t wait to watch your stories continue to unfold into a marriage far more beautiful than your stunning wedding days!
And to all the AMAZING vendors we worked with at each of our 2018 weddings, THANK YOU! These days would never ever happen without all of you, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have worked alongside each of you in 2018!!! 🙂
