Welcome back to the blog, everyone! My goodness, has this wedding season been a full one… and we can hardly believe it’s about to wrap up in just a few weeks! We’ve loved sharing every wedding this year right here on our blog, and we have another beautiful day to share with you all today. But first, if you are brand new to the blog, welcome- we are Caitlin and Luke, and we are Harvard, IL wedding photographers! We absolutely loved getting to be Michaela and Blake’s photographers for their long-awaited October wedding day. You might actually recognize these two from their beautiful engagement session at Fabyan Forest Preserve back in November of 2019- it had definitely been a little while since we saw these two, so we were so thrilled to get to catch up and finally celebrate their big day with them!! Yay!
Michaela and Blake had originally planned to get married in the spring of 2020! Like many of our couples, due to all the craziness last year held, they decided to postpone their wedding to the fall of this year. Their big day was totally worth the wait, and it was so sweet to finally get to celebrate with these two as they said “I do!” Michaela and Blake’s entire wedding day took place at the beautiful Starline Factory, and we headed to a nearby forest preserve to capture these two’s portraits! We were blessed with the most gorgeous day for a fall wedding, and I always especially love the variety that Starline Factory provides us for photos. You can see a few of my absolute favorites after Michaela and Blake’s ceremony- those indoor portraits are some of my top faves from the whole day!
Michaela and Blake- you did it!! Your big day finally arrived, and you two are officially married. Yay!! We couldn’t be more excited that you guys were finally able to have the wedding day of your dreams! You two and your families have put so much work, time, and heart into planning every single aspect of your special day, and my goodness did it pay off. We are so thrilled that you guys chose us to be a part of this special time in your life, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s in store for your life together! Thank you for being so good to us- we appreciate you and your families so much! We hope you adore this little sneak peek into your special day as much as we do. Yay! A big congrats from us again!!!
