On Saturday, Luke and I photographed one of the weddings we’ve been waiting the longest to get to shoot!! We initially met up with Anna and Bryan last spring at Starbucks, and the amount of planning they already had done for their wedding day then was only slightly impressive 😉 We chatted with Anna and Bryan for a long time that day and connected right away, and we left that meeting knowing without a shadow of a doubt that these two were the perfect fit for the Caitlin & Luke family!! We immediately started counting down to their wedding at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and The Marriott in Uptown Normal… and their day did not disappoint.
These guys have the sweetest story ever and are one of the couples that you just can’t help but realize are 100% perfect for one another… it’s simply incredible to witness. Anna and Bryan have the kind of chemistry you see in a couple that’s been married for maybe a few years… the kind of joy that’s settled, content, peaceful and just plain happy. Yet, you can tell these two still totally have the butterflies and the excitement of new love too- we loved watching how Bryan watched Anna all day long and listening to how often he told other people how happy he was and how beautiful his bride looked. I mean, how much sweeter can it get?!
Even sweeter… because Anna and Bryan were connected with us through another of our precious couples, Jenna and Stuart, who got married just about a year ago now! (Scroll on down to the reception photos to see a shot of the six of us… we LOVE these four so incredibly much!)
Anna and Bryan, we couldn’t have asked for a better day with you two!! We’re so sad that your day is over, but now we need to come up with some good excuses to see you guys again soon!! 🙂 We hope you absolutely adore this little peek into your day and we hope you have a phenomenal honeymoon!
