Hey friends! We are Caitlin & Luke- Peoria, IL Wedding Photographers! We had the total honor of being Lauren and Carl’s wedding photographers for their stunner of a wedding day this past weekend, and today we couldn’t be more excited to be sharing a peek into their big day right here on our blog!
Lauren and Carl have been a part of our 2020 wedding lineup for quite some time, and Luke and I can honestly say that we have been eagerly anticipating this special day for quite some time now! Lauren and Carl are phenomenal people, and they have treated us with tremendous kindness and care from the second they first inquired with us. These two have navigated all sorts of changes to their wedding day with an overwhelming amount of grace, and we are so grateful we were still able to celebrate with them on Saturday! What a joyful celebration it was.
We also absolutely adored Lauren and Carl’s friends and family! Hands down, these two have some of the most fun, genuine and supportive people in their life that they could ever ask for- it was so special to see! Their friend group was SUCH a blast to hang out with all day long, so we have to give a little shout out to Lauren and Carl’s amazing bridal party and super kind family members. They were all so wonderful! Seriously- almost every single one of Lauren’s bridesmaids checked in on us throughout their wedding day to see if we needed anything! How sweet is that?!
One of Luke and I’s favorite parts of Lauren and Carl’s wedding day was their portraits with Oakley, their brand new golden retriever pup… be sure to scroll down to see those photos after their ceremony photographs! 🙂 We also loved finally getting to shoot at the beautiful Pettengill-Morron House in Peoria for all of Lauren and Carl’s portraits- we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot for their pictures. We also loved that Lauren and Carl’s groomsman Clayton played a few songs at their reception- including their first dance and Carl’s dance with his mom! This day was filled with SO many special moments, so don’t be surprised at the absolutely massive size of this post and the tons of images we’re sharing below! 😉
Lauren and Carl, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing US as your wedding photographers! You guys have been a dream to work with, and we truly feel we’ve gained friends in you two! We loved every minute of our time with you guys on Saturday. Congrats again from Luke and I- you’re MARRIED! Yay!!!
