Ohh friends… where do we even begin with Abbey and Colton? We couldn’t be more excited to be finishing off this week by sharing these two’s engagement session on the blog this Thursday! On Monday, we headed out to Clinton, Illinois to shoot this adorable engagement session for our 2017 couple Abbey and Colton, and we seriously had such a blast.
Abbey first got in touch with us over the winter about shooting their November wedding, and after that very first phone call, Luke and I looked at each other and said, “THAT is a Caitlin & Luke Bride!” I’m serious, guys… Abbey just exudes this sweet joy and has the most adorable personality, and she and Colton are the most perfect pair. Plus, we found out that our sweet bride Claire (remember her and Logan’s engagement session?!) is friends with Abbey as well, and our friends Emilee and Cody (here’s their fall wedding!) know Abbey, too… what a small world, huh? It’s amazing to see our Caitlin & Luke Bride family grow and grow… that’s what it’s all about. We loved getting to spend some time with these guys at Weldon Springs in Clinton on Monday, and we think you guys are going to love these guys as much as we do!! Not only that, but Colton’s sweet mom walked around with us the entire evening to keep an eye on the cute golden retriever you’ll see below… wasn’t that so sweet of her?! Remi, Abbey and Colton’s golden retriever, was SO full of energy SO much fun to photograph. We lvoe it when our couples bring along their sweet dogs!! Ah!
Abbey and Colton, thank you guys so much for being so much FUN to spend time with on Monday! We are seriously so excited to be sharing this little peek into our time with you guys on Monday! Abbey, you did a killer job selecting your outfits girl- we knew they would turn out beautifully, and they did! You guys are a joy to spend time with, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you at your wedding in just a few months… it’ll be here quicker than you think, we promise! Enjoy, you two!
