The other day, Luke and I peeked at our calendar for this week and next week, and we realized just how much our engagement shoots are starting to slow down for the fall! How did that even happen? Our nights are becoming less and less full, and while that DOES mean we don’t get to hang out with our AMAZING #caitlinandlukebrides (and grooms!) as often, we DO get to see our family a whole lot more, we get to rest more, and we get more time to just be together. Goodness, we even get time to do things like cook a non-crockpot meal (a photographer’s lifesaver during busy season, I swear!) together or watch a movie! October is October, and it’s SO fun… but there’s something about November engagement sessions that we just LOVE too, and I’m so happy we got to squeeze a few of these in before our off-season officially starts!
Chelsea and Xavier met up with us on Sunday afternoon here in Normal, and we had the best time getting to know them a little bit! These two are getting married in January, and I’m a little excited about it… I think winter weddings are so romantic and gorgeous, and I cannot WAIT to see how Chelsea’s vision for their gorgeous day is going to come together! I already know it is going to be a stunner of a day!
We also absolutely LOVE Chelsea and Xavier’s engagement story… let’s just say it involves the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and an adorable whale delivering a ring box! ???? I mean, come on… Xavier totally outdid himself, and the photos from that moment are beyond precious! IT’s that kind of thoughtfulness and sweetness that makes Chelsea and Xavier’s relationship so precious to witness. I could sense that throughout their entire session on Sunday night, and it just made me smile inside! They are the real thing, y’all!
Chelsea and Xavier, we are already so stoked for your January wedding… I know it’s going to be one gorgeous day! We hope you guys absolutely love your engagement photos and we can’t wait to see you in just two months… it will be here before we even know it! We can’t wait to share the rest of your photos soon!!
