Today is my favorite person’s birthday!!! It has been an unusual and bittersweet week for us, and Luke is always the first to say that his birthday is “just another day” (whatever babe 🙄💓), but I want to make sure this guy still feels incredibly celebrated and loved today!
The past year has been one of the most crazy, challenging and full of change since we’ve been together, and we never would’ve thought on his birthday last year that this is what life would look like this year. But, I’m so thankful for all God has done in the last year and I’m so expectant to see what this new year of his life will hold.
Luke, you are my absolute best friend and are about to be the world’s BEST daddy to baby Grayson! I couldn’t imagine navigating this life with anyone else, and I’ll never get over the fact that God picked you for me. Thank you for leading our family so well, for how seriously you take your relationship with the Lord, for your desire to always pursue growth, for the way you sacrificially serve me and others, for your incredible generosity & genuine kindness towards everyone, and for being totally yourself 100% of the time.
