The second we received an inquiry from Brittany, I got excited… right off the bat, she struck me as a sweet, kind and down to earth girl who was over the moon excited to be marrying her fiancé, Kirk… and once Luke and I grabbed coffee with these two earlier in September, I knew I was right!
At that first meeting over Starbucks coffees, we began planning a beautiful sunset engagement session at some property of Kirk’s, and just like I knew Brittany and Kirk were a PERFECT fit for us, I knew this spot would be the perfect fit for them by the way they were describing it. Then, Tuesday night rolled around and we followed Brittany and Kirk to this spot, and I knew AGAIN that I was right! 😉 This piece of property totally has it all… an enormous pond, lots of big trees, old railroad tracks, and of course, the sun was just starting to set as we pulled in. Again, PERFECT! I think fall sunsets are the very best sunsets for photos! Throw in the gorgeous outfits that Brittany had picked out, including a floral dress and lots of button downs and flannels (my favorite!) and some cuddles and laughs on their part and we had one amazing engagement session on our hands!
Brittany and Kirk, we hope you adore each and every one of your photos! We had the best time with the two of you on Tuesday night… despite getting bitten up by mosquitos the entire time! 😉 We are counting down the days until your wedding next April, and we promise you… time will just fly by between now and then!
