Happy October you guys! Can you even believe it’s October 3rd already?! How did that even happen?? We are back at it after a super fun weekend together. On Saturday, we got to shoot Jade & Justin’s gorgeous fall wedding, and on Sunday we met one of our sweet October brides for coffee before a full afternoon of fall mini sessions for some adorable couples and families! Today, we’re headed up north for an anniversary shoot… and tomorrow, I think we will rest a little bit! Ha!
Before our busy weekend got rolling, we spent some time with these sweet friends of ours, Ben and Jess! We’ve known Ben and Jess for a few years now through our church’s college ministry, and it was so fun to catch up with them over an AMAZING dinner that Jess cooked before doing a little session for the two of them… and their adorable black lab, Grace! (You know I loved that part of the night! I wanted to take her home with me!
These guys live on an amazing farm not far from us, and they showed us around before we started their session so that we could pick the best spots to shoot! Talk about a GORGEOUS location for these portraits… we were in love. From the pond with the cutest little dock and patio, to the tree-lined driveways and grassy field, we could’ve stayed out here all night… but since there was a yummy dinner waiting for us and the sun was setting super quickly, we didn’t get to do that! ????
Ben and Jess, we hope you love your portraits and are so thankful that we got to spend some time with the two of you on Thursday night! We loved seeing where y’all live and getting to catch up with the two of you, and we’re excited to send your gallery over super soon!
