Ohh you guys, this is going to be a fun one! Hi and happy Tuesday! On Saturday, we got to photograph the last wedding we had booked for October, and oh was it a precious day. I still remember the first time I sat down with Traci and Drew at Gloria Jeans last fall… I could tell a few things right off the bat as I met with these two!
First, Traci and Drew just ADORE each other. Anyone who knows them well can totally attest to this, too… these guys are head over heels for each other and it melts my heart to be around, much less get to photograph. They have this contagious JOY when they are around each other that leaves me smiling behind my camera, and that is totally what this job is all about!
Second, Drew and Traci are just kind, sweet people to be around. They were constantly looking out for their bridal party, vendors, family and guests all day long on Saturday, and that totally struck me. We work with brides who care more about the other people who are a part of their wedding days than they care about their own needs, and that is huge! I shared yesterday that I shot this wedding without almost any voice, and these two cuties kept offering me water bottles, telling me to take a break, and more. Luke was able to lead a huge portion of this day with me, which was also so helpful… we make a good team, even if one of us sounds like the penguin in Toy Story who has a broken squeaker. ???? (I’m not kidding, guys!)
Traci and Drew, your day was exceptional. You could just feel the love between you guys all day… it is so authentic and sweet to be around, and we loved getting to see just how excited your friends and family were for you both! We hope you adore your photos and we are counting down the days until we get to send off your full gallery of images! Enjoy a little peek into our favorite moments from your best day ever!
