Welcome back to the blog, friends! My goodness, are we excited to share this fun post with you all today- we are just obsessed with these two and their gorgeous wedding day! If you’re new around here, welcome!! We are Caitlin & Luke- Elgin, IL wedding photographers, and we absolutely loved getting to work with Emma and Joseph for their The Haight wedding day! You might remember Emma and Joseph from their engagement session last year- it was a favorite for sure! We have truly been looking forward to this wedding day ever since we did these two’s photos last summer. We can’t believe it’s come and gone already, but we are so excited to share our favorite images from this sweet day with you all today!
We first met Emma when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding we photographed a few years ago, so when she reached out to us after she got engaged, we we so excited and honored to get to be her and Joseph’s photographers, too!! These two have been the sweetest to work with, and every bit of their wedding day was so joyful and fun. I kept telling Emma how relaxed and happy everyone seemed all day- everyone was just so excited to get these to married and to celebrate together!
We started the day with Emma as she got ready at her sweet grandma’s house, which I loved because I actually got ready at my nana’s house on our wedding day a few years ago! Then, we all headed to Tyler Creek Forest Preserve to take all their portraits for the day before these two had their ceremony and reception at The Haight. It truly was the best day!
Emma and Joseph, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing us to get to be a part of your beautiful wedding day! It has been such a joy getting to be your photographers, and we wish you guys all the best as you start your married life together! We hope you adore this little peek into your wedding day as much as we do and that you’ve enjoyed every second of that honeymoon. Congrats again, you two!!
