Welcome back to the blog, friends! Wow, are we excited to share this beautiful wedding day with you all today- we had the most amazing time getting to celebrate Emily and Kyle’s gorgeous wedding day with them! If you’re new around here, welcome- we are Caitlin & Luke- Champaign, IL wedding photographers, and we absolutely loved getting to work with Emily and Kyle for their Hudson Farm wedding day! You might remember Emily and Kyle from their engagement session- it was a favorite for sure. I’m still not over the sunset photos we got during that session- it was so beautiful! Emily and Kyle have been a part of the Caitlin & Luke family for quite some time now, and it was such a joy for us and our team to get to celebrate with them for their beautiful day.
Emily and Kyle were originally supposed to have their wedding day in 2020, but COVID had other plans! So, these two postponed their big celebration to 2021 and had an incredible, joyful “round one” wedding day last summer. We’ve been anticipating celebrating with them for “round two” ever since! 🙂 Plus, we became even more excited when we heard that they were expecting the sweetest baby girl, because sweet Charlie got to be a part of their celebration this year! I think it’s safe to say she totally stole the show… just wait until you see her sweet face! Seeing her made me miss baby Grayson all day- she was just darling!!
From start to finish, this day was such a joy to be a part of! We have to also say an extra big thank you to our incredible team Lauren Trotter & Matt Everly for assisting Luke and I as we each headed up both photo and video for Emily and Kyle! We could not have done this day without them. One of my personal favorite moments from this sweet day included the first look with Emily, Kyle + baby Charlie- just wait until you see those photos! I adore the love you can see on Emily & Kyle’s faces for their baby girl.
Emily and Kyle, thank you so much for choosing us as your photographers + videographers! Working with you guys has been such a joy, and we are so glad that we got to celebrate both round one AND two with you guys 😉 You have always been so good to us, and we’re honored that we got to be the ones to document your special day. You guys are already the best parents to little Charlie, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for your marriage and life as a family! Congratulations again!
