Happy Tuesday y’all! We are SO very excited to be sharing Kerstin and Kyle’s darling and classic wedding with you all today!! We initially talked to Kerstin and Kyle well over a year ago when they first inquired about booking us as their wedding photographers. After we met up with them last fall for their sunrise engagement session, we hit it off so well that we immediately began getting excited about their wedding this fall! Their engagement shoot was easily one of the coldest, if not THE coldest, engagement shoots that we have ever done. I’m serious, guys… we’re talking probably under twenty degrees and under ten degrees with the wind chill. You could NEVER tell from their images, but y’all it was COLD.
So when the forecast showed thunderstorms and crazy wind all day for Kerstin and Kyle’s wedding day, we just had to laugh and throw our hands up and accept it… and guys, we still got some of our absolute favorite portraits of all time. We have to hand it to Kerstin & Kyle, along with their INCREDIBLE bridal party and family… we knocked out all of their portraits in record time, WITH rain and wind blowing directly behind Luke and I the entire time. We had some AMAZING people to work with for this sweet day, and we are infinitely grateful for that. Plus, the sun peeked out for approximately five minutes before Kerstin & Kyle’s ceremony, so we snuck out for a bunch of portraits during those five minutes… and it was SO worth it, friends!
Kerstin & Kyle, y’all are amazing. Thank you for caring so deeply about every single aspect of your wedding day and treating it with so much purpose and care. You guys took care of us and your guests and family SO darn well on Saturday, and it was a pleasure to be a part of your day. We are incredibly excited for you two and we hope you adore this small peek into your beautiful wedding day!
