Sunsets, golden retriever puppies, a gorgeous field and a couple totally in love? I don’t think it gets a whole lot better than that, does it?! It was such a beautiful night to shoot an engagement session at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. We met up with Josh and Kelsey on Saturday night at their home to start their engagement shoot so that we could do a few photos with the third member of their little family… Bailey, their nine month old golden retriever! Y’all already know that I am a TOTAL dog-lover, and you probably also remember me saying I was so excited that we got to do FOUR engagement sessions with dogs over the weekend! Bailey was so fun to photograph and is just way too cute for words… doesn’t she look so happy in all these photos? It’s the best!

After the first part of this engagement session with Bailey, we headed off to Mackinaw Valley Vineyard, which is actually where Kelsey and Josh are also getting married! Luke and I had only been here once before for the wedding of some friends of ours.

So, I was super excited to go back to see this spot again and actually get to SHOOT here, too! As soon as we pulled in and I saw the vineyards, the fields on the outskirts of the vineyard that stretched as far as I could see, and all the gorgeous big trees with the prettiest light streaming in. I KNEW we were in for a fun night! Plus, Kelsey picked some seriously perfect outfits… I love the wedges she wore for her first outfit and the way these two coordinated their looks! Fall is the PERFECT time to show off some plaid during your engagement session! ????

Kelsey and Josh, we had such a fun time with the two of you on Saturday night! You guys are so adorable together and I know your wedding is going to be incredible next year!
