Oh friends… this is a wedding day that Luke and I have been looking forward to for a LONG, long time now. Back in the Spring of 2016, before Luke and I were even married, guys, we began chatting with Erika and Marty about their October 2017 wedding. Sitting here and writing this post now, I have absolutely no idea how it’s been so long since we initially started chatting with these two, but here we are… and their wedding day has officially come and gone!
From the start, Erika and Marty have been nothing short of a total DREAM to work with. The kindness and care these two have shown us from day ONE of our relationship is incredible, and we were legitimately sad when we left their reception on Saturday night because we have LOVED getting to know these guys so much! These two tied the knot in the very same venue where Luke and I got married last June… our home church, Eastview. We then headed to The DoubleTree to celebrate them for the rest of the night, and let me tell you, it was one heck of a fun party! 😉 At dinner, we got to sit with some of Erika and Marty’s friends – who were SO sweet and fun to talk to, by the way! – and just hearing how much all their friends and family LOVE these guys was precious. This was a day that had been long-awaited, and we were completely honored to have been a part of it!
Erika and Marty, we LOVED your sweet day. It’s been a total joy and an honor to be your wedding photographers, friends, and wish you guys nothing but the absolute best as you start your life together as husband and wife! We hope you adore this little glimpse into your sweet day, and we can’t wait to share the rest of your finished images with you two! 🙂
