With weather like we’ve been having here in Illinois this February, it’s no wonder we have been able to schedule a few engagement shoots with our amazing couples lately! And oh my goodness, y’all… this engagement session at Illinois State University and a few of our favorite spots throughout Normal is truly one for the books.
As soon as Morgan inquired with us a few months ago about their upcoming December wedding, we just KNEW these two would be the perfect addition to the Caitlin and Luke family! We immediately started planning a date to meet up for their engagement photos and exchanged so many sweet emails as we planned out every last detail.
It initially looked like Saturday was going to be super cloudy, muddy and even a little bit rainy. But, as you can see, our lovely Illinois weather changed completely… and we enjoyed some of the most perfect weather I can ever remember having in Illinois in February! We took full advantage of this gorgeous Saturday evening for Morgan and Ryan’s engagement shoot.
From the perfect outfits Morgan selected (I seriously want the boots she’s wearing at the first location!) to the totally on point hair and makeup she had done for this session and from stopping by where Ryan proposed, to the gorgeous sunset light we had, we were in HEAVEN for this engagement session! Plus, when a couple is as joyfully in love as these two, they make our job pretty dang easy ???? Morgan and Ryan, we already feel like we’ve been friends with you two for years! We had an absolute blast hanging out with you two during your engagement session on Saturday, and we cannot wait to send over your full gallery of images SOON!
