Hi you guys, and happy hump day! Last week, Luke and I had the incredible opportunity to travel to the mountains in Tennessee for a week with my family. We drove about half a day to get there (with multiple stops for sweet cream vanilla cold brew at Starbucks and Chick Fil A for lunch, of course!), and it was completely worth it. This cabin is so special to me and my family, and it was amazing to be able to bring Luke along this year!
First, here’s a little peek into where we stayed. The views were INCREDIBLE… as we’ve gotten back to work this week, we’ve wished so many times that we could just go sit out on the deck and enjoy these views while we write emails and work through our to-do list’s! Ahh!
(Yes, that’s me… in a Patagonia and sweatpants in the middle of JULY in the SOUTH. Don’t judge… I’m always cold! Ha!)
Of course, we had to take some photos while we were here! We snuck off one night and found the most perfect spot for portraits. You just can’t tell that we’re being eaten alive by little tiny flies the whole time! 😉 Luke and I were chatting about how special it is to have beautiful pictures during so many seasons of our lives. I have a folder on our Dropbox just FILLED with photos we’ve done at various shoots, most taken with a tripod and a little remote one of us is holding. It’s so special to me!
We already miss these beautiful mountains and cannot wait to go back someday. Have a happy Wednesday y’all!
