Hi everyone, and welcome to our blog! We are Caitlin & Luke- Springfield, IL Wedding Photographers, and we are so excited to be sharing some very special photos right here on the blog today! This was, hands down, one of the most special things we’ve ever had the privilege of getting to photograph, and I think you’ll see why in a second! But first, we have to share a fun little backstory with you guys! 🙂
Do you guys remember this special anniversary session we captured earlier on this summer? Well, something else fun happened at this shoot, and we just recently shared all about it on our Instagram page!
When Sabin reached out to me about scheduling an anniversary session AND surprising Tyler with the news that he was going to be a dad, I got SO excited, and Sabin and I immediately began working on the best way to surprise him at their anniversary session! She brought two chalkboards to their shoot, and she and I decided ahead of time that I’d have each of them write a few words to describe each other on their boards, then have them turn around to see each other’s reactions!
Sabin wrote the words, “You’re going to be a daddy!” on her board, and Tyler wrote the words “stunning, creative & loving” {so sweet!} on his! I counted down and had them turn around, and I totally was bawling behind my camera as Sabin and I watched Tyler read her board several times before the news finally sunk in 😉 It was the most special moment, and we’re so honored that we got to be a part of it!!! These photos make our hearts so happy!
Sabin and Tyler, you guys are going to be the best parents!!! Congratulations again from Luke and I!
