What a day this was, friends! Luke and I have not stopped talking about what a blessing this day was to us since we left on Saturday night. Carli and Cody contacted us a few months ago about being their wedding photographers, and I honestly don’t think we could have said YES quickly enough! It was so clear right off the bat that these two were the absolute perfect fit for the Caitlin & Luke bride and groom family, so we immediately began planning for their darling engagement session and their beautiful wedding day to come!
Carli and Cody are some of the most down to earth, joy-filled, and genuinely kind people we have ever had the pleasure of working with… period. These guys were a joy to spend time with all throughout their wedding day, too… they were completely relaxed and just plain excited to SEE each other and officially become husband and wife! We love when our couples are more focused on their marriage than their wedding day, and that was absolutely the case for Carli and Cody.
Not only that, but they were full of so much joy all day long that we couldn’t help but be filled with happiness, too! It was completely contagious, which I just love. PLUS, we had an absolute ton of time for portraits of Carli and Cody because of how well Carli was able to plan their day! Y’all, she told us that she read her Bridal Guide cover to cover and took NOTES on things like planning her timeline, having her details ready to go, choosing to do a first look, making time for sunset portraits, and more. That is the only reason why these guys were able to have almost two hours of portrait time JUST for the two of them- isn’t that just incredible?! THAT is what happens when your photos are a priority and you schedule your day accordingly, and you guys can bet that Carli and Cody’s gallery is going to be packed full of portraits of them. Ahh… it’s the best.
Carli and Cody, we can’t say enough good things about you two. Thank you for being so darn wonderful and for inviting US to be a part of your incredible day! You two are amazing people and we wish you guys nothing but the best as you embark on the journey of marriage.
