The blog has just been FULL of engagement shoots lately, hasn’t it?! Goodness gracious! That’s fall for you! Our calendar is so packed full with engagement sessions and we love it… fall truly is the perfect time for these sweet sessions! We’ve had so much fun meeting up with some of our amazing couples this past week, and Carli and Cody were no exception to this! From the moment Carli contacted us about shooting their wedding, I just KNEW she was the perfect fit for us! It’s been fun to chat with her over email, so of course it was even more fun to connect in person on Thursday! ????
We met up at the gorgeous Washington Park Botanical Gardens in Springfield, which is exactly where Luke and I had our engagement photos done! Luke and I walked around before the session remembering all the spots our favorite photos were taken… it brought back such sweet memories!! Plus, shooting here just reminded us how much we just adore shooting at this beautiful place!
Then, Luke and I headed off to visit some family of his in Missouri and Kansas! Carli and Cody’s session was the perfect start to our little trip, and we had a blast meeting them and hearing about their wedding plans. Plus, they’re kind of the cutest ever, so that always helps!! ???? Oh, and all you engaged ladies… take notes! Carli and Cody’s outfits were so perfect for their session and for their location! Carli did such a good job with the planning, and I think I want a pair of shoes like hers now!
