The fact that I am sitting down to write a blog post on the year of 2016 is absolutely CRAZINESS to me! Luke and I say all the time that we can’t even believe how quickly this entire year has just FLOWN by for us. Of course, with planning a wedding for June, we wanted the first half of the year to go by as fast as it could! But we definitely assumed it would all slow down once we got to June 18th, and it totally DID NOT. ???? Ha!
That’s okay though, because if there is one word I could use to sum up the year of 2016, it wouldn’t be “whirlwind” or “crazy” or “stressful.” Nope, not at all. This year was a total ADVENTURE for us. 2016 was a year full of so much newness, traveling, learning, grace, forgiveness, and honestly, a whole lot of hustle. We worked harder this year than I ever expected to have to. Day in and day out, we’ve put in the work to grow this little business God blessed us with, and the blessings we’ve reaped as a result have been absolutely mind-blowing to us. I’ll take a year marked by hard work any day… we still have a long ways to go, but we learned SO much and grew SO much this year, and for that we are so thankful.
Over the course of the year, we’ve taken so many fun photos together, and we wanted to share a portion of those with y’all today! Enjoy a little peek into our “behind the scenes” from 2016… from wedding days, to iPhone memories to engagement shoots (and everything in between)! Y’all, it was a good year, and we can’t wait to see what our “behind the scenes” post looks like at the end of 2017! Thank you for the ways you have supported us over the course of 2016… we could NOT be on this incredible journey without each and every one of you!
