We have been so incredibly excited to share this post with you guys!! Kayla and Phil’s wedding day absolutely snuck up on us, and we literally cannot believe that their wedding day has already come and gone. It’s so crazy to us!! It literally just feels like yesterday that we were photographing their darling engagement session back in September of last year, and now all of a sudden these guys are husband and wife! We can hardly believe it… but we are so totally excited for Kayla and Phil as they start their life together as husband and wife! Ahh!
This day was, hands down, one of the most chill, stress-free and happy wedding days we’ve ever had the chance to be a part of. We stayed at the beautiful Mackinaw Valley Vineyard for the entire day, and everything ran so smoothly, we had some INCREDIBLE weather, and Kayla and Phil were just a complete dream to work with! Plus, these two seriously worked their entire timeline around their wedding photos, and they have a whole TON of beautiful images as a result! (You know we were loving it!!) Kayla was one of my roommates in college, so it was awesome to catch up with some of our other sweet roommates and watch her marry the absolute most perfect guy for her on Saturday. On top of all these things, these two wrote their own vows, and would you believe that they BOTH wrote that one another was their “person?” I’m telling you, these two are just made for one another, and that was so completely evident all day long on Saturday. These two didn’t take their eyes off each other all day long and didn’t stop smiling for a second. So many happy tears were shed, so many hugs were given, and joy just permeated every ounce of Kayla and Phil’s day. What a dream!
Kayla and Phil, you guys are about as sweet as it gets! Thank you so much for welcoming us into the beauty of your day and for making us feel so at home all day long! We loved hanging out with you guys, we appreciate you guys trusting us and wandering around vineyards for some drone wedding portraits (????), and we are incredibly happy for you guys. Congrats, cuties- we are so thankful to have been your wedding photographers!!
