Merry Christmas sweet friends! We wanted to pop in really quickly and wish you guys the merriest Christmas this year before this weekend gets underway! Today, we’re shooting the most GORGEOUS wedding for our sweet friends Heather and Shea up at Starved Rock Lodge (follow along in Instagram HERE to see the very first sneak peeks from that!), we’re spending Christmas Eve with Luke’s family, and we’ll be spending Christmas Day with my side! We’re excited the most incredible weekend getting to celebrate this sweet season with so many people we love dearly, and we are just soaking up our very first married Christmas! We’ve been so very excited for this time of the year to roll around!
We hope that your Christmas weekend is so full of joy, laughter, some unexpected gifts, and of course lots of amazing food! We were laughing about how SO many of both our families’ Christmas traditions revolve around food… crepes and Chinese food are traditions for Luke’s family around Christmas Eve, and my family always makes coffee cake for breakfast on Christmas morning! These are the kinds of traditions we are so excited to be able to start for our own little family… It truly is the best!
