Happy Monday, guys! There’s not much better than starting off the week with a gorgeous engagement session… and we’re so excited to be sharing this one with you all today!! We first started chatting with Melanie and Mike back in January (which is SO hard to believe!!) about their wedding next spring, and from the moment we hopped on that first FaceTime call with these two, we just KNEW this was going to be a fun journey with these guys! The four of us just totally clicked and hit it off from day one, and from the start, the thought of working with these guys made us so excited.
Fast forward to a few months later, and we were planning these guys’ engagement session! We decided to meet up in one of our favorite cities in all od Illinois (Geneva!), and Melanie helped find the most gorgeous location, Fabyan Forest Preserve, to shoot at. We went back and forth a whole bunch about outfits (which these two KILLED it at selecting!!), and basically just counted down the days until we got to officially meet these two for their session. And let me tell you what… it did NOT disappoint!! We had the best time exploring a new part of Geneva with these two and could have shot for hours! We didn’t stop chatting and laughing the entire time, and we thin you’ll agree that these guys were just total naturals in front of the camera… I mean, really. They could not be more adorable!! We had the most gorgeous evening and the BEST light, and it was just a dream to get to work with these two kind souls!! (Plus, we got to see 3 owls after their session… does it get much better?!)
Melanie and Mike, we had the BEST time last week!! Getting to know you guys has been so darn fun so far, and we can’t wait for more adventures as we continue planning your wedding with you!! We are honored to be your photographers and cannot wait to watch you guys become husband and wife next May! Ahh! Enjoy this little sneak peek into your dream of a session. 🙂
