Whew, the blog has just been jam packed full of cuteness this week, hasn’t it?! It certainly looks like we were some crazy busy people while we were in Alabama, but I promise… we got plenty of rest and relaxation, too! 😉 Our days were super relaxing, and we love that we got to balance that relaxation with some amazing shoots in the evenings, too! The main reason we headed to Alabama was to visit some of Luke’s family, and these guys are some of Luke’s family! Jon and Luke are cousins, and we loved getting to know his sweet wife Tamara while we were visiting Alabama this past week! Jon and Tamara got married a year ago and celebrated their first anniversary this past weekend, so we, of course, had to snatch some time for a quick anniversary session the evening before we headed back to Illinois!
While we had some beautiful weather during our week in Alabama, we didn’t have a whole lot of sunshine in the evening until the night of Jon and Tamara’s shoot, so when we headed outside to start these guys’ session and saw that gorgeous light pouring through the trees, Luke and I were so stinking excited! Plus, Tamara selected some perfect outfits for their session (I mean, I think I want an American Eagle romper like hers now!), so this was bound to be a pretty darn awesome session!
Jon and Tamara, we’re so glad we got to spend some time with you guys while we were down in Alabama! Thanks for being so fun to photograph and for braving that crazy humid weather and cuddling and nuzzling away no matter how hot it was outside 😉 We’re grateful to call you guys family and we hope you adore this little peek into your photos… and, we can’t wait to send over the rest SO soon! Happy first anniversary, you two!
